Curse Of Tavros is a video game we designed and made in the space of two months. It is a first person maze game where you avoid traps and a hungry minotaur as you explore the most significant archaeological discovery of the 21st century.

In the design stages of the project I was in charge of writing, menu designs, level design and designing the logo for our team.

In the creation stages of the project I was head coder, UI coder and level designer. I also put the textures on the models in the engine.

The project was an insightful experience. I learned a lot about the kind of things I like doing in game design. For example I really enjoyed level design and building the levels in engine and had I a lot more time I feel I could have crafted a environment that really helped to tell the wider story of the minotaur. I also learned that its vitally important that both yourself and your team mates are able to complete your tasks on time and to a good standard: near the end of the project I had to replace a a lot of walls manually due to a late wall model which hindered my ability to give other areas the attention I wanted to give them.
